Background on the President’s Remarks Today in Cleveland, Ohio

The President will deliver remarks outlining a set of targeted initiatives to support economic recovery and ensure long-term sustainable growth at the Cuyahoga Community College West Campus in Cleveland, Ohio to an audience of approximately 800 students, faculty, and invited guests.

PRE-PROGRAM

Reverend Otis Moss, Jr. will deliver the Invocation.
Rev. Moss, Jr., pastor emeritus at Cleveland’s Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, serves on the White House Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Duane Evans will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Duane is an Iraq veteran and president of the Veterans Club at Cuyahoga Community College.

Kira Seaton will sing the National Anthem.
Kira is an Assistant Professor of Music at Cuyahoga Community College.
