White House with Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood
and APA administrator Lisa Jackson. The order is designed to spur on the
development of fuel efficient cars to help the US be
less dependant on foreign oil. Tis order is part of Obama's initiative
to combat climate change.

their relations and China said the US must avoid trade protectionism.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Riyadh (top

Jordan's King Abdullah at Biet al-Urdon Palace (top and
bottom right). A Sunni Muslim votes in Provincial elections in Ramadi,
Iraq. President Obama praised the Provincial elections
as "an important step forward" for Iraq (bottom right).
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmandinejad (center) said Obama's
willingness to talk shows a deep fundamental change in the US and says
this shows the US policy of domination has failed.
