President Obama considered a ‘liar’, recent poll indicates his lowest job approval rating ever

Among several things that President Obama has been called, only his harshest critics dared to call him a liar.

That’s all changed now considering how Obama claimed that people who wanted to keep their healthcare plans under the Affordable Care Act has proved to be false.

Speaking of why people think of the President to be deceitful, a Presidential scholar at the Texas A&M University, said, “We have testimony from some of his aides that he asked questions about the [HealthCare.gov] website all the time. If that’s the case, he was misled, but it’s the president’s responsibility not to be misled. It does make the president look bad if he doesn’t know what he’s supposed to know.”

Why this matters so much is because this was a key selling point which has turned out to be false in the individual insurance market, leaving the President in a position where Americans think that he wasn’t well-informed or just lied.

And it’s unfortunate that this has occurred considering how different President Obama seemed from his predecessors, George Bush and Bill Clinton.

Of course, it’s impossible for the President to know everything that goes on within his administration since it is one of the largest entities on the planet. However, what doesn’t work in his favor in this case is that healthcare is now his greatest priority.

So, it should be surprising when an NBC/ Wall Street Journal Poll found that his job approval ratings reached an all time low. It was for the first time that more Americans viewed him negatively as opposed to otherwise – 45 percent unfavorably to 41 percent in his favor.
