People doubt Obama’s ability to deliver as President, a CNN/ORC poll reveals

With the poor rollout of his administration’s healthcare law, a CNN/ORC poll reveals that more people doubt the President’s ability to manage the day-to-day affairs of the nation.

If that’s not enough, this poll also pointed out, without a doubt, that the President is not honest or trustworthy, with almost 53 percent of respondents questioning his integrity.

The poll was carried out during the ongoing problems that was faced in the rollout stages of Obamacare between November 18-20, 2013.

Simply put, the HealthCare.Gov portal that was launched on October 1 has been facing technical issues (and been the subject of fierce political debate) ever since, and which was created so as to offer insurance to uninsured Americans in 36 of the 50 states.

If that’s not enough, a number of insurance companies have canceled millions of existing insurance policies breaking Obama’s promise that people would be allowed to keep their policies if they were happy with the coverage they were receiving.

It is for this reason only 40 percent of the 843 people who participated in this poll said that the President is capable of managing the government effectively – his worst scores in key areas over the last five years.

Even though 56 percent of the people said that they did not admire the President or agreed with him on important issues, seventy percent of people admitted that the is likable and cares about the country’s future while caring for the average person’s needs.

Yet another Gallup poll revealed Obama’s job approval ratings at 41 percent down by 4 points from the previous poll taken before the healthcare rollout.
