Obama approves of Biden’s 2016 Presidential Bid, Vice-President Still Undecided

President Joe Biden has received Obama’s approval to run for the 2016 Presidency as the latter leaves office after two terms.

Of course, this depends on whether Biden chooses to run. But what was definitely up for discussion was a potential presidential candidacy as the two met for lunch on Monday at the White House.

Not surprisingly, and in an attempt to minimize opinion about the Vice-President’s future, Biden spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said, “Sources continue to speculate about something they know nothing about. This lunch was a private meeting between two people — the President and the Vice President.”

What was also revealed is that Joe Biden was supposed to have a meeting with Dunn and Bob Bauer and Steve Richetti, the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, at his home on Monday too. These people have been at Obama’s side for the better part of this decade.

According to a number of sources, Biden intends to run but has not made up his mind just yet. So, it’s clear that these two meetings at his home and at the White House is to explore whether he should or should not run for the Presidency.

While a number of top Democrats have already signed up with Hillary Clinton, others have said that they will support Joe Biden if decides to make a run for the White House in 2016.

Without a doubt, both Dunn and Bauer could prove to be excellent aides during this race and could encourage a number of Democrats to side with Biden if he chooses to run.

Also, a close source of Biden has revealed that several Democrat fundraisers have been invited to a meeting with the Vice-President after Labor Day.
